Social Media Policy
This policy provides guidance to members on acceptable use of social media. It outlines what is expected in relation to using social media in order to protect the reputation and interests of Corrimal Swim Club.
Social Media is a collection of internet and mobile based tools which facilitate communication. Some examples are Facebook, Instagram, Twitter etc
This policy applies to all members of Corrimal Swim Club.
To avoid breaching this policy, members will not:
- Post material that is offensive, obscene, defamatory, threatening, harassing, bullying, discriminatory, hateful, racist, sexist or is otherwise unlawful towards other members, supporters or officials of Corrimal Swim Club.
- Imply that they are authorised to speak on behalf of Corrimal Swim Club nor give the impression that the views expressed are those of our club.
- Use the identity or likeness of another member of Corrimal Swim Club to complete the above.
- Post material that might otherwise case or potentially cause damage to the Corrimal Swim Club reputation – this includes taking photos and uploading them to social media.
Corrimal Swim Club supports and encourages the use of social media for promotional and communicative purposes. However using social media as a tool to promote personal views or attacks against others, is not acceptable and will not be tolerated.
Corrimal Swim Club members must comply with this policy at all times. If you have any queries, please contact our Club President for clarification.
